Acupressure

Acupressure is a form of ancient Chinese Medicine that uses the bodies energy points.  Our acupressurist uses the Jin Shin Do method.  Here she will use  gentle,  yet firm,  finger pressure on specific energy points and verbal body focusing techniques.

This helps relief stress and other traumatic problems that keep people from living fully productive lives.  This method of acupressure utilizes teachings and practices from many oriental medicines including Reichian segmental theories, acupuncture, acupressure, Qigong, and  others that have statiscally shown to be effective treatments for chronic problems.

"Jin Shin Do promotes a pleasant translike state where one can move out of the head and into the body assessing feelings and inner wisdom." The Jin Shin Do foundation (jinshindo.org)
